PAYMENT PLAN
- €99 Deposit. Secure your place and begin your application.
- €250 Second Payment. Due 21 days after booking.
- €279 Final Balance. Due when your application is ready for DS-2019 issuance.

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?
The J-1 Summer Work Travel programme is for full-time third-level students.
You must:
✓ Be 18 or over when entering the USA
✓ Be enrolled as a full-time student in an eligible degree or higher-qualification programme
✓ Hold a valid passport
✓ Have sufficient funds to support yourself on arrival
✓ Meet all J-1 Sponsor and US visa eligibility requirements
Important: Criminal history may affect eligibility. Applicants must disclose any arrest or conviction history during the application process.
IMPORTANT PROGRAM INFORMATION
J1 Ireland communicates directly with applicants regarding their applications and does not normally discuss applications with parents or other third parties.
All employment must comply with Intrax and J-1 Summer Work Travel requirements. Applicants must receive sponsor approval before starting employment or changing employers in the USA and must comply with all applicable notice and programme requirements.
US Embassy appointment procedures are determined by US authorities and may change. J1 Ireland will advise applicants of the applicable procedure.
A US Visa Integrity Fee of at least US$250 may apply, in addition to existing US Government and Embassy charges. The amount, collection procedure and any potential reimbursement are determined by the US Government and are separate from the J1 Ireland programme fee.
