Program Description

Your program will be held in Bali. The Yoga and Meditation program involves a week of learning and practicing Balinese Yoga. This program is ideal for both beginners and experienced practitioners.

Meditation is the art of focusing your mind, restraining your thoughts, and looking deep into yourself. Practicing it can give you a better understanding of your purpose in life and of the divine, and it provides you with certain physical and mental health benefits.Lovina has so much to offer, from learning some basic yoga and meditation to relaxing body and mind.

Whilst you can sandwich in a session or two into one of our programs, if time permits, please experience one of our Yoga and Meditation weeks, you will be pleased that you did.

Many people travel the world to be here as they believe that Bali is a unique place for reflection and contemplation, and we would totally agree with them. Balinese Yoga is one of the most famous activities on the island. This enchanting environment empowers an ambiance within which you can experience true tranquility. The yoga principle stretches further than just physical exercises. It teaches different paths of yoga, postures, breathing techniques and meditation to liberate yourself from stress, anxiety and physical ailments.

During this week, you will practice this balance and learn from our experts in healing techniques of yoga and meditation to have a healthy body and mind. Meditation is the art of focusing your mind, restraining your thoughts and looking deep into yourself.

Besides that, you may also have the best time throughout your stay as you will engage in fun, relaxing and recreational activities held after a long day of your program alongside other participants.

Finally, you can not miss every single weekend experiencing nearby scenic views and historic places around Bali, especially its pristine beaches and crystal clear waters. Thus, we will make sure to assist you in organizing your weekend getaways and enjoy every bit of your time.

Additional Requirements

  • Older participants or over 65 years are required to have a medical clearance as proof of their physical fitness.
  • Participants below 18 years old need a signed parental consent as proof of involvement of their children for the program. If possible, accompaniment by an adult is highly advised.
  • Due to the length and active nature of this program, a decent level of mental and physical fitness is required.
  • Excellent time management and self – organizing and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
  • Recommended a COVID – 19 Vaccination, purchase travel insurance, medical and Covid – 19  insurance prior to your arrival.
  • Recommended vaccinations often include hepatitis A, hepatitis B typhoid, tetanus, Japanese Encephalitis and polio.

Additional Equipment

Personal belongings:

  • Bring Personal toiletries such as basic soap, shampoo, toothpaste and towels as they may not be available in the accommodation.
  • Bring suitable clothes for Yoga so you can move easily and comfortably.
  • An environmentally friendly sunscreen or lotion is also advised to protect you from the heat of the sun and please carry with you preventive agents during outdoor yoga activities, such as mosquito repellents for insect bites or other insects that may irritate your skin.
  • Moreover, bring Medicines with you especially if you have to take specific medicines on a regular basis as well as other medicines for headaches and stomach aches.
  • Refillable water bottles and hydration packs to stay hydrated throughout the day particularly during the yoga activities.

Dress Code:

  • Indonesia is a Conservative Country, please wear modest clothing covering knees and shoulders. Loose and long clothing is both respectful and tends to keep you cooler in hot climates. Cover up as much as possible in the spirit of the local culture to avoid embarrassment.
  • Your clothes must not be too short, too tight, or too revealing. Kindly make sure your shoulders and legs are covered.
  • It is completely fine to wear western clothes as long as they fit the local standards.
  • Be thoughtful of the graphics, symbols or text printed on your clothing and avoid wearing clothing styles that might be inappropriate most especially when visiting temples, monasteries and schools during your spare time.
