Program Description
This program gives you the opportunity to experience Nepal on an adventure side. You will hike through the foothills of the Himalayan mountains, go on a fun-filled white water rafting adventure to explore the rapids, camp overnight under the stars, go on a jungle safari and experience the wildlife of the mountains at their best.

Aims & Objectives
The aim of this program is to bring you closer to authentic Nepal and take you on an adventurous journey into the Himalayas.
Schedule
- Welcoming Ritual – Puja to the Gods & goddess and name giving ceremony with Ice breaking activities
- Review the schedule,
- Social behaviors norms dos & don’ts in Nepali culture
- Cross culture seminar on eating, drinking, clothing bathing & toileting customs in Nepal
- Lunch
- Talk on safety & security during the program. Signing up the Code of Conduct, Child Protection Policy and Release & Waiver of Liability. Collection of passport copies, photos, and police clearance
- Information on placement and visiting the placement site.
- Assignment to find the local civics places in and around the program house neighborhood. Get personal accessories (Photocopy, money exchange, ATM and take picture). Clothing shopping at the local market.
- Dinner
Monday
- Hike through the mountain in Shivapuri.
- Overnight stay at the centre in Kathmandu
Tuesday
- Drive to Charaudi early in the morning (3 hours)
- White water rafting at Trisuli river
- Overnight camping
Wednesday
- Continue rafting
- Drive to Chitwan
- Jungle activities
- Overnight stay at a resort
Thursday
- Jungle activities
- Overnight stay at a resort
Friday
- Morning jungle activities
- Drive back to Kathmandu
- Overnight stay at the centre

Additional Requirements
Due to the length and active nature of this program, a decent level of fitness is required.
